A Borri three phase B8000FXS uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system is now playing an integral role in supporting the IT infrastructure at Leeds Trinity University.

The order for the high efficiency, transformer free UPS unit was secured through leading IT consultancy and services provider, Articulate Technology. Having previously worked with Borri on comparable projects, Articulate Technology had complete confidence in specifying a Borri UPS for this critical application.

Borri’s engineers delivered, positioned and commissioned the 30kVA B8000FXS within the tight time frame stipulated by Leeds Trinity University. To deliver the correct autonomy, the installation also included a battery enclosure.

As part of the complete service provided, Leeds Trinity University is also benefiting from a three year battery warranty and comprehensive maintenance contract, which covers emergency call outs, preventative maintenance, parts to the value of £200 and 24/7 technical support.
