Working with Alcatel-Lucent and Solution Builders (SBL), the hotel was able to implement an innovative end-to-end network infrastructure, offering guests modern and environmentally friendly services, including the advanced services available in each room via the smartphone features of Alcatel-Lucent’s My IC Phone.
Alcatel-Lucent has deployed its feature rich, web-services My IC Phone to provide the hotel’s business guests with in-room smartphone application-like capabilities through its integrated touch screen interface. Along with exceptional audio quality, guests will have easy access to helpful hotel information such as directories, applications such as weather updates and an energy saving function to control room lighting.
Through the network infrastructure, Hotel La Tour can offer interactive TV and wireless internet in every room, along with a paperless check-in and check-out ‘kiosk’ service, and other innovative features such as staff using the iTouch for restaurant orders.

Hotel La Tour is currently developing plans to expand its portfolio and has acquired land to build a further hotel.
