Sweet Serenity, based in Bournemouth, specialises in creative cakes for all events, including corporate cakes, and has created a very special celebration cake for the 30th anniversary of Deemrose which is based in New Milton in Hampshire.
Lindsey Crosby, managing director of Sweet Serenity, was particularly delighted to make the celebratory cake for a cabling company. She said, ‘I was thrilled to create this special cake to celebrate Deemrose’s 30th anniversary as my father was in the Royal Signals for 20 years.’
A family based business, Sweet Serenity produces novelty cakes for any occasion. It prides itself on doing something a little out of the ordinary by creating stunningly individual, bespoke cakes. Lindsey learnt the art of cake making as a child at her mother’s side.
‘As my father was in the army it was difficult for my mother to have her own career because of moving frequently so she would bake cakes for people wherever we lived; I used to love helping her,’ she added.
The cake for Deemrose is an artistic tribute to its cabling business – finished off with an ornate sugar craft icing display of data cables in celebration of Deemrose’s 30th anniversary.
Ralph Hooper, sales director for Deemrose Data Cabling, commented, ‘We are delighted that Sweet Serenity, a fairly new business to Dorset, have made such an elegant and unique cake for our anniversary.
‘We are obviously thrilled to be celebrating 30 years in business on the south coast and would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers for their support over the past three decades.’
