Lancope heads to the racetrack with Redstone Racing
Network performance and security monitoring provider Lancope headed to Oulton Park Circuit on Sunday 10th June 2012 to join Redstone in its sponsorship of Redstone Racing in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).Lancope and its guests cheered on the Redstone Racing team, adorning the team’s Ford Focus ‘Red Devils’ with its logo as co-sponsor of the team for two race days.
The support comes after Redstone launched its ‘Accelerated Alliance’ sponsorship and business development package for vendor partners earlier in the year when Redstone became title sponsor of the Motorbase Performance (BTCC) team ‘Redstone Racing’.
Lancope’s arrival comes as the team leads the Independent Teams’ Trophy and lead driver Mat Jackson sits third in the Independent Drivers’ Trophy.
‘Lancope is a strategic partner for Redstone and a key pillar of our end-to-end service to customers,’ said Richard Archer, sales director at Redstone. ‘As well as allowing our customers to maximise their investment in their IT infrastructure, Lancope’s offering is key to network security. Not a day goes by without a high profile security breach in the news, so to have Lancope’s expertise available to our customers is very important for Redstone.’
‘We’re delighted to be one of the first on board Redstone’s Accelerated Alliance programme,’ said Steve Simpson, director of international sales and operations at Lancope. ‘We look forward to raising our profile with Redstone’s customers, and supporting the Redstone Racing team in this exciting season.’
Redstone partner Brocade has also joined Redstone’s Accelerated Alliance programme and will join the team later in the season.
