Fujikura Europe sharpens competitive edge with announcement of extra value for customers

The Japanese firm, which has its European headquarters in London, is making the move to offer existing and new UK customers even greater value and post sales support. It is also responding to increased activity from new competition in the marketplace.

Fujikura Europe supplies a majority of all fusion splicers sold around the globe and it has this year launched a new range of splicers including its best seller, the 70S. The robust 70S has improved reliability by resisting shock, rain and dust, allowing it to withstand a 30 inch drop test on six sides. Two of the newest features include an automated wind protector and a tube heater which has been developed for quicker splicing cycles and to reduce the number of operational steps. The unit also includes core alignment, a high resolution LCD monitor, powerful Li-ion battery for longer operation time and built in videos for on-the-go training.

If the splicer requires a service, Fujikura will guarantee a three day turnaround from its dedicated Service Centre.
