Formula Fusion series arrives in Kent

Buckmore Park Kart Circuit played host to the second Formula Fusion regional qualifier event. After eight highly competitive qualifying heats and two finals the top five drivers were Simon Ager, Paul Speed, Mark Nichols, Steve Hallt and Alan Clarke, who have secured their places in the Grand Final event in September.

Tony Kennealy of Comex 2000 (UK) commented, ‘Formula Fusion at Buckmore Park was a really enjoyable and thrilling day. Not only was it great fun to race and meet the Fusion team, but also a good opportunity to network with other installers.’

‘Yet again we had a very high standard of drivers who, coupled with the glorious weather, put in some really good lap times and made for a very exciting race.’ said Jerry Mills, managing director of Mills.

Next stop on the schedule is Glan Y Gors Park Karting Circuit in North Wales on 15th July. It’s is the largest outdoor kart circuit in the north west and Wales and is ideally positioned to serve drivers based in Liverpool and Manchester.

The top five drivers will earn themselves a spot at the Grand Final Grand Prix race at Rye House on 16th September and the chance to win a supercar driving experience at Goodwood.
