The 10,000th customer to go live on Gigaclear’s ultra fast broadband service has received in celebration, a smart Samsung 4K TV from the company’s chief executive, Matthew Hare, so that they can fully take advantage of their new ultra fast Internet speeds.
The Roberts family, who are from a village near Cirencester in Gloucestershire, will be able to access broadband speeds up to 1Gbps, now that they have joined the thousands of households and businesses connected to Gigaclear’s service.
David Roberts, the homeowner, says: “I spend a lot of time on the computer doing aviation work, so speed is important, particularly as I communicate with different teams around Europe. The company has been brilliant in keeping us updated on progress; it has great customer service and the installation team was incredibly efficient. As an ex-businessman myself, I appreciate it when companies put themselves in the customer’s position. We can’t wait to go live today and would like to congratulate Gigaclear on reaching such a terrific milestone. We’re honoured to be the 10,000th customer.”
As a Gigaclear customer, they will be able to download a three-hour feature film in 53 seconds or 23 songs in just 1.6 seconds, and upload 200 photos in less than 9 seconds.

Gigaclear’s ultra fast fibre network connects homes and businesses in 13 counties across the across the South West, Midlands and South East. The rapidly growing and ambitious company already has contracts in place to expand the network, connecting many more thousands of homes and businesses to its completely new, full fibre network over the coming years.
