Blue Helix & Corning raise over £1000 for St Catherine’s Hospice

St Catherines to use

The record amount raised at the golf day started with the selling of mulligans to the players during the day. The mulligans sold particularly well as the golf went on. During the evening raffle tickets were sold with prizes donated by Mannings Heath Golf Club, Fluke Networks and Ortronics. Prizes included a golfing break near Bath, drivers, golf bag and rounds of golf at Mannings Heath. The draw was made before the start of the England vs. Uruguay World Cup game (which was the only low point of the day).

This is the first time that Blue Helix & Corning has supported St Catherine’s Hospice. St Catherine’s Hospice is a charity dedicated to providing specialised end of life care and support to local people, their families, friends and carers. The hospice cared for the wife of a member of staff recently. Blue Helix & Corning would like to thank all those that attended and donated so generously.
