CMS plc appoints Dave Spence for Atlantis Hydrotec business development

David Spence- International Development Director for Atlantis Hydrotec

The system provides an innovative and cost effective way of running fibre optic cable through existing cold water supply pipes, making fibre to the home (FTTH) or commercial premises both cost effective and simple to implement.

Dave has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry including responsibility for new business development across multiple channels and geographies. In his new role Dave’s remit is to grow global sales of the Atlantis Hydrotec solution.

Dave stated, ‘This solution removes many of the barriers that have slowed down the adoption of FTTH in the marketplace. It enables the use of existing infrastructure for cable deployment and as a result is much more cost effective than more conventional alternatives. I am really excited about the global opportunities for this technology, and in the short time I have been in my new role, have been pleasantly surprised by the level of interest from both end users and potential partners.’
