The website has been redesigned to reflect feedback from the market. It provides significantly improved navigation to make it easier for visitors to find exactly what they want. Visitors can choose to tailor their visit, whether by product range (copper, fibre, intelligent cabling or voice products) or application: data centres; education; medical and scientific; hotel and leisure; or offices, retail and commercial.
Contact and purchase information is now prominent on the home page, so in one click site visitors can find out where to buy products, go through to distributors’ own websites, or choose to contact the 3M dedicated customer centre with any questions.
Ashleigh Cox, senior marketing executive in 3M Electronics and Energy division, said, ‘The new website is a showcase for the comprehensive range of structured cabling solutions from 3M, which has been expanded to include a greater array of options across both fibre and copper environments, giving our customers and partners a single source of supply.’
Over the next few months, 3M will also be adding news, videos, blogs and feature articles about the industry to the site, as well as integration with social media channels including Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.
