Mayflex produces a series of security talking heads videos

Mayflex has launched the first in a series of ‘Talking Head’ educational videos.

The first video, entitled ‘Evidential Video’, is presented by Gary Harmer, director of sales – electronic security. The series features members of the Mayflex security sales team talking about various technologies available within the security arena.

The first video covers some of the basic principles for capturing video down for evidential purpose and looks at the different categories of video footage and what they are commonly used for. Also discussed is how to ensure the best possible footage is recorded, along with designing a CCTV system to suit an individual businesses needs.

Gary Harmer, director of sales – electronic security at Mayflex commented, ‘Mayflex is at the forefront of the distribution of innovative IP based electronic security solutions, to accompany this we decided to produce a library of brief yet informative videos for people to view at their leisure. The aim of these videos is to help people make informed decisions about the technologies that are available.’

Harmer continued, ‘The security sales team are well informed on these subjects and are available to provide varying levels of support required to our customers who may need a helping hand. Other topics recorded include, lighting options, copper transmission, storage options and CCTV over the network.
