Rainford Solutions supports countryside broadband network initiative

The digital divide between remote and rural communities verses large conurbations has long been a concern in the countryside of the UK. In order to tackle this problem, local residents of a Lancashire hamlet set up a not-for-profit organisation B4RN, which will provide them with modern, fast fibre optic network to rival any city.

Rainford Solutions of St Helens is proud to deliver FTTH cabinet to B4RN, the first of its kind ‘Broadband for Rural North’ project.

Rainford Solutions’ enclosures, supporting this countryside broadband network, are already in place at the Quernmore location. The enclosures, with landscape friendly design, help keep the rural views intact while providing top performance for all housed fibre optics.
