Data cabling company strengthens its security division following acquisition of Birmingham based firm

Birmingham based CDI Group has bolstered its security division with the acquisition of locally based security company, Discovery Cabling Solutions.

As a result of the acquisition, CDI Security Services has also gained accreditation from the independent regulatory body, NACOSS (National Approval Council for Security Systems). The organisation inspects security firms across the country, awarding accreditation to companies who comply with its policies and procedures, meets British and European standards, and installs and maintains to high levels of workmanship.

Glyn Rogers (right of picture), director of the Security Division at CDI Group, said, ‘I’m extremely happy to announce this new acquisition which continues the ongoing success of the security division.

‘The company is going from strength to strength and we’re now looking forward to taking our portfolio to another level. I’m excited what the future holds.’

CDI Security Services will incorporate the team from Discovery Cabling Solutions which brings experience, expertise and a number of major contracts amassed over 15 years of trading.
