Excel makes the top three in BSRIA Report

Excel Networking Solutions has risen to third place in the UK copper structured cabling market, as reported in the BSRIA 2011 UK Market Report.

According to BSRIAs annual independent structured cabling report Excel’s market share for copper cabling systems increased from 8.6 per cent in 2009 to 11.2 per cent in 2010, placing it third in the overall market, with a revenue growth in the 12 month period in excess of 35 per cent. In addition, in the statistics shown for cable sales, Excel recorded first place with 17.90 per cent of the market, up from 14.10 per cent the previous year.

Mark Simmons, sales director, said, ‘We are delighted with the results.  The BSRIA report provides us with a good measure of the size of the market and where Excel fits within it, so it’s very positive news.’

Excel has seen a very positive year all round, having introduced many new products and having launched an all-encompassing Encyclopaedia, which has become a strong reference tool for Excel customers.
